Measuring the value of search

A new McKinsey research estimates the impact of internet search in the global economy

Millions and millions of citizens around the world each day search the web either for information on products and insights that may help them through their  own business.

The economic value of this activity is still uncertain.

A recent study by McKinsey investigating Brazil, France, Germany, India and the United States gives an overall view of the phenomenon and its value.
